Filipinas in Computing
Kamusta!
Filipinas in Computing (FilipinasIC or FiC) is an affinity group of the AnitaB.org Systers community.
We bring together Filipino women:
in the technology industry,
who have an interest in tech,
and who study in the areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
Our Goals
The Filipinas in Computing community exists not just to raise awareness of issues faced by Filipinas in tech, but principally to promote and celebrate our successes!
We foster conversations about your challenges, coping mechanisms and successes; fostering friendships and mentorships, creating an environment of support, promoting leadership and professional development; and developing diversity in the field of technology by introducing and supporting more Filipinas.
This is the space for Filipinas to connect, share best practices, and inspire one another.
